Getting Here

Folkestone Airshow 2014 will be staged over the elegant historical Leas area of Folkestone, with fabulous views across the English Channel to France.

The Leas is separated into Upper and Lower levels. The elevated Upper Leas runs parallel to the coast and with its wide promenade, long grassy greens and sweeping sea views it’s the perfect setting for an outdoor event.

The Lower Leas follows the same stretch of coastline at sea level. Boasting beautiful beaches, country walks, a coastal park and a grassed amphitheatre seating 350 people, it’s another great vantage point from which to enjoy the show.

The seaside town of Folkestone is situated in the South East of Kent, about three miles west of Dover and 15 miles east of Ashford.

The town is easily reached by car or public transport, with major motorway and rail routes finishing here.

Folkestone Bus Station and Folkestone Central Rail Station are just 5 and 10 minutes’ walk respectively from the Leas.

If you plan to attend both days of the event and want to make a weekend of it, why not follow the links below for accommodation suggestions to suit all budgets…
